Who will review my case and what are the criteria needed to be a consultant?

The specialists who make up the staff of Cancer Consultants are distinguished and innovative consultants in their respective fields with regards to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. All of them are recognised experts in Pathology, Medical Oncology, Radiotherapy, Oncological Surgery, Haematology or Paediatric Oncology. Cancer Consultants also have external consultants available for rare pathologies and situations.

To be a consultant with Cancer Consultants the following criteria need to be fulfilled:

• They must have proven experience in the treatment of patients with cancer.
• They must have given scientific communications at reputable international conferences and have had work published in significant journals.
• They must participate or have participated in relevant clinical trials.
• They must be recognised and have a reputation in their field of Oncology.
