 Frequently asked questions

What do I have to do to request a second opinion?

This is a procedure with three simple steps, through this website.

The first thing you have to do is decide what type of consultation you want (the options are "medical evaluation", which is a second opinion about your medical reports; "diagnostic evaluation", which is a revision of the histopathology, or a complete evaluation, which we class as "medical evaluation plus diagnosis"-), and inform us of your choice.

Secondly, after filling in this first page, you will see a web form where you tell us your most relevant medical information (if you request a revision of the histopathological diagnosis, you must also fill out the corresponding form for us to request your tumoural samples. This is included on the form). All the medical reports, documents (including, if relevant, the completed form requesting your tumoural samples), medical tests, etc. which you have available should be sent to us at: Apartado de Correos 6032, 08080 Barcelona, Spain, and if possible, by fax to the following number: (34) 900 807382.

Thirdly, indicate your chosen method of payment. If you wish, you can make your payment over the internet in a secure transaction, using your credit card or bank transfer. Remember, however, that if you cannot afford this service you would be exempt from payment, provided you prove this by sending us some form of justifying document, either by fax or by post, and that we have funds available in the FUSEON Foundation (Foundation for Second Opinion in Oncology) to cover the costs.

Starting from the moment we receive your medical information by post, we will reply with an expert Second Opinion report within 10 days.
