The need for a second opinion in oncology has been recognised in the charter of citizens' rights and obligations regarding health matters, which has been approved in some of the autonomous communities in Spain.
Thanks to the financial support of our sponsors and the FUSEON Foundation (Oncology Second Opinion Foundation), those patients who cannot afford it (those with a gross annual income of less than €15,000, which is twice the interprofessional minimum wage) can benefit from our second opinion service free of charge, provided that there are funds available to defray the costs.
